Microsoft closes Hotmail and redirects users to Outlook
Technology giant Microsoft said it would close Hotmail e-mail and redirect its users to its new web-based email service Outlook.com.
The new Outlook.com was introduced 6 months ago. Microsoft claims she has done enough tests on her and will take her out of her review status to put it in active use by millions of people around the world, says Business Insider. Darmesh Mehta, Director of Product Management, said in an interview that hundreds of millions of Hotmail users will be transferred to Outlook this summer.
The transition will make Outlook one of the largest email services. Outlook.com already has 60 million active users. Her ad has gained additional popularity in recent days. Look.
